Blackjack
Blackjack is the best-odds table game in the casino. The math backs this up, as optimal gameplay with basic strategy can give you a 0.5% house edge. The bad thing is online casinos don’t offer those 0.5% blackjack games.

You already know the set up. You and the dealer each get two cards and try to reach 21 without going over. The dealer plays by fixed table rules. Make sure to read the table rules before playing, as they will affect the house edge and strategy.

- European roulette has one 0. This has a house edge of just 2.70%.
- French roulette adds La Partage, which refunds half your even-money bet when zero hits. It has a house edge of 1.35%. This is a very rare roulette variant if you can find one.
Same basic game, with a 4x difference in how much it costs you to play.
If European roulette is available, play European. I recommend avoiding American roulette or any gimmicky version, like triple-zero roulette or double-ball roulette.
For those getting started, place outside bets (red/black, odd/even) to get the feel for the game. These win just under half the time; less than 50% due to the zero. You get paid 1:1, so you could break even or make a slight profit.
Baccarat
Baccarat is the most misunderstood game in the casino. Seeing James Bond play gives the sense it is a high-skilled game. It is not.
- Two hands are dealt: Banker and Player. You bet on which one will be closer to 9. Extremely simple.
- Cards are drawn by fixed rules; nothing you do after placing your bet changes the outcome.
- The Banker bet has a 1.06% house edge. The Player bet is at 1.24%. Both are among the best bets available anywhere in the casino.
- The Tie bet pays 8 to 1 and carries a 14.36% house edge. This is a suckers bet, don’t fall for it.

Craps
The craps table can be chaotic the first time you see it. Multiple bets, weird names, and fast-paced gameplay. Once you get the hang of it, craps becomes simpler.
Most craps players follow one basic strategy, just bet the Pass Line. Once a point is set, take the maximum Free Odds bet behind it. That’s it.
Playing this way, the combined house edge drops to 0.374%. The Free Odds portion itself carries zero house edge, the only bet in any casino with flat math.
All those proposition bets in the center of the table? They’re for the house. Any 7 carries a 16.67% edge.
Once the rhythm of the table clicks, craps is the most social game at any casino. It’s worth learning and playing at a retail casino instead of online. And no, the live dealer version doesn’t compare.
Live Dealer Games
Real dealers, real cards and wheels, and real action. The games stream in real-time to your screen. It’s as close as you can get to a real casino experience while playing online.
